Day 1 Depart USA for Taipei
Day 2 Arrive Taipei
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to
your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day
at your leisure, resting after the long
flight.
Day 3 Taipei
Today your will tour Taipei, one of Asia’s
most dynamic and fascinating cities. Visit
the Lungshan Temple, dedicated to Kuanyin,
the Goddess of Mercy. Then visit Confucius
Temple, and Paoan Temple. Visit the Chiang
Kai Shek Memorial, a dramatic structure is
surrounded by lovely gardens, and is popular
amongst joggers and tai chi practitioners.
You tour also includes include Wanhua
District, North Gate, and the Longevity
Garden. You may opt to explore the market
area of Snake Alley. (B)
Day 4 Taipei
This morning you will visit the National
Palace Museum. This is one of the world’s
greatest museums, housing a priceless,
breathtaking selection of Chinese Imperial
Art. The museum holds over 700,000 items,
and constantly rotates its exhibits every
three months. The collection includes jade,
bronze, porcelain and lacquer pieces, as
well as tapestry and embroidery. The
afternoon is at your leisure. (B)
Day 5 Sun Moon Lake
This morning you will be driven to Sun Moon
Lake. On the way you will visit Wu Temple,
Tse-En Pagoda and Hsuan Tsang Temple. Check
in your hotel. (B)
Day 6 Sun Moon Lake
Sun Moon Lake is one of Taiwan’s loveliest
regions, and the deep blue waters surrounded
by mountains, create an idyllic environment.
Today you may relax at your villa or suite,
or you may choose to explore a number of
glorious temples and tribal villages in the
surrounding area. You may also venture out
to enjoy a boat ride on the lake or even go
on the Maolin Hiking Trail, which curves
along magical forests of olive and cedar.

Day 7 Alishan
After breakfast, you will be driven to
Alishan National Scenic Area. The mountain
Alishan is well known for its four beautiful
scenes of mystical tree, oriental cherry, a
sea of clouds and sunrise, thus goes the
saying; "Those who haven't been to Alishan
can not know the beauty of Taiwan."
Overnight at Chayi. (B)
Day 8 Tainan
Today you will be driven to Tainan to visit
Chikan Tower, Confucius Temple, and Fort
Anping. Transfer to FoGuangShan, the largest
Buddhist Monastery in Taiwan. (B)
Day 9 Kaohsiung

Wake up early this morning and join the monastery’s chanting. Start with a physical warm up and followed by a short meditation course. Then be driven to Kaohsiung to visit Dragon & Tiger Pagodas, Spring & Autumn Pavilions, and Confucius Temple. Explore Kaohsung on your own in the evening. You may choose to visit Kaohsiung Night Market or take a motor boat cruise on the Lover River. (B)
Day 10 Hualien
After breakfast at hotel, you will be driven
to Kenting National Park. Stop at Maopito
(Cat’s Nose Tip), Kenting Forest Prk,
Oluanpi Light House. The transferred to
Kaohsung Airport and fly to Hualien. Check
in your hotel. (B)
Day 11 Taroko Gorge
This morning, you will be driven to Taroko
Gorge, the most attractive region of Taiwan.
This steep ravine, with its 3,000-foot high
marble cliffs, is permeated with a network
of tunnels. Shrines, waterfalls and grottoes
are found throughout the area. Tour Taroko
gorge Gateway, Eternal Spring Shine, Swallos
Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns and Tienhsiang,
a village that offers pleasant views and
opportunities for scenic walks. Return to
Taipei in the afternoon. (B)
Day 12 Depart Taiwan
This morning you will be transferred to the
airport for your departure flight.
