Take a full day excursion to Kinabalu National Park, a botanist's paradise with over a thousand species of orchids, numerous Rhododendrons and pitcher plants as well as a large species of birds. You will visit Mulu National Park, the home to the largest cave passages in the world. Visit a Urang Utan rehabilitation center and you have a chance to chat with the Ibans - the largest group of natives in Sarawak and were once considered the head-hunters of Borneo. |

Things to Bring :
Due to the basic conditions at the Longhouse, you are advice to bring your own raincoat, hand-torch, personal toiletries, light clothing preferably cotton materials, towel, body soap, one good walking shoe with rubber base/slippers, anti malaria tablets, insect repellent, sun protection lotion & first aid kit.
Please travel light. Bring along small backpack to carry your belongings. It is not advisable to bring along your suitcase due to the nature of the program. You can leave your suitcase in Kucing.
Should you like to bring gifts for the people at the Longhouse, it is strongly advised that you get biscuits, medical first aid kit books, pencils, pens, and toys such as dolls. We discourage giving sweets and cigarettes.
* Cockfighting is only a friendly sport and does not involve any physical tool, in fact, the cocks are pets of the owners who cherish and care about their well-being.
* Sarawak Museum is closed on public holidays |
