Day 1 USA / Bangkok
Depart USA for Bangkok, Thailand.
Day 2 Arrive at Bangkok
Sawat dee kaa, welcome to Bangkok, Thailand: the City of Angels and Land of Smiles. Bangkok is a city of immeasurable delights: excellent golf courses, beautiful temples and palaces, shopping bargains, restaurants and world class hotels. Arrival at Bangkok International Airport(Suvanabhumi) and you will be met and greeted by our representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel.
Day 3 Bangkok B,
After breakfast at your hotel you will be transported by air-conditioned limousine or mini-van to Suwan Country Club. Suwan Country Club is one of Bangkokís best courses and played host to a 2009 Asian Tour event. The course is surrounded by fruit orchards and rice fields. There are many holes with significant elevation changes where level fairways play up to built up and well guarded greens. Several holes require long and straight tee shots so as to take the strategically placed fairway hazards out of play. Water or OB comes come in to play on most holes, putting shot making accuracy at a premium. Imported Paspalum grass is used in fairways while the greens are constructed of Mini-Verde turf from the USA. Putting surfaces are among the best in Bangkok. The clubhouse feature contemporary styling with posh locker rooms, spa, and an excellent restaurant.
Day 4 Bangkok B,
After breakfast at the hotel, your English-speaking guide is waiting for you. Depart from hotel to Rattanakosin Island, the original area of Bangkok when it was first established as the capital over 200 years ago. The Grand Palace has an area of 218,400 sq. metres and is surrounded by walls built in 1782. Within the compound are situated government offices and the Chapel Royal of the Emerald Buddha besides the royal residences. Wat Phra Kaeo; the most beautiful and important Buddhist temple in Thailand, it is so richly and intricately decorated that, once entering the temple, you will feel as if you are in a real 'city of angels'. Afterwards you will cruise in a comfortable long-tail motor boat along the Chao Phraya River. You will be treated to spectacular and colourful scenery of Thai life along the river banks. After the boat trip you will tour along Ratchadumnoen Rd.(The Royal's Way). En route you can see many magnificent temples and architectural buildings, including the City Pillar Shrine, National Museum, Democracy Monument, Golden Mountain, Thai Boxing Stadium, Anantasamakhom Palace, Parliament House, Dusit Zoo and Chitlada Palace King's Residence. The rest of the afternoon and evening is free for your own activities.
Day 5 Bangkok B,
After breakfast at your hotel you will be transported to Thai Country Club, a prestigious memberís course. Thai County is often considered the best in Bangkok as it sets the standard for service excellence. Designed under USPGA international standards by Denis Griffiths, Thai County opened in December 1996. The course as expected is well-maintained year-round and features a great variety from hole to hole, along with an abundance of water and sand bunkers. With its immaculate presentation and conditioning, coupled with a very strong palm-lined layout, Thai Country Club is regularly voted as a Top 5 course in Asia. The award-winning best in Asia clubhouse which stands surrounded by water between the 1st tee and 18th green caters to every need. The driver will be standing by the whole day and after golf you will be transported back to your hotel.
Day 6 Bangkok - Hua Hin B,
After breakfast, transfer to Hua Hin, a smaller seaside town popular with couples and weekend visitors from Bangkok. It is a quiet and relaxed area. The oldest and most traditional Thailand beach resort combines the attractions of a modern holiday destination with the charm and fascination of a still active fishing port. It will take approximately 2 hours to reach Hua Hin. Upon check-in at your hotel you can relax by the pool or swim in the sea. Your evening is free to explore Hua Hin by night.
Day 7 Hua Hin B,
After breakfast at your hotel you will be transported by to Springfield Village Golf Club. The Jack Nicklaus designed course is rated as the one of best courses around Hua Hin. It has been designed to meet the high demands of a recognized championship golf course, and yet it remains an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards. Springfield offers other first class facilities apart from the course. The club house will leave you with a lasting impression. The interior is beautifully finished in polished marble & granite, and portrays a feeling of opulence associated with grand palaces. Changing rooms quite excellent, as are the caddies who are also well trained. The driver will be standing by the whole day and after golf you will be transported back to your hotel.
Day 8 Hua Hin B,
After breakfast at your hotel you will be transported to Banyan Golf Club. Built among a pineapple plantation, Banyan Golf Club is the newest Hua Hin golf course, opened in October 2008. The course provides for spectacular mountain and ocean views from most all of the holes and is the best conditioned layout in the area. Lush Zyosia fairways, a local grass but a rarely seen on golf courses in Thailand, are a pleasure to hit from as balls sit up nice throughout the fairways and roughs. Dark green Paspalum tee boxes add to the stark color contrast on the course and are a nice decorative feature. Tiffeagle grass greens makes for fast but receptive putting surfaces. The driver will be standing by the whole day and after golf you will be transported back to your hotel.
Day 9 Hua Hin B,
After breakfast at your hotel you will be transported to Black Mountain Golf Club. Black Mountain, host of the 2009 Black Mountain Masters Asian Tour event was transformed from lush jungle and fruit orchids and is a test for all golfers. All the holes provide the golfer with a safe route but for the more adventurous player there is a higher risk option with a potential greater reward. Black Mountain offers generous fairways for the shorter hitters that become narrower for the longer tee shots. The greens are large with many pin positions, with different degrees of difficulty, and the course is well protected by many sculptured bunkers. Seashore Paspalum grass was used for the tees, fairways and rough. The view from the clubhouse gives a panoramic view of the whole golf course and surrounding valley. The driver will be standing by the whole day and after golf you will be transported back to your hotel.
Day 10 Hua Hin - Bangkok B,
Transfer to Bangkok International airport for departure flight.
