Day 1 Bangkok
You will arrive at Bangkok. Your tour guide will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel. Accommodation: Royal Princess Larn Luang
Day 2 Bangkok B,L,
Bangkok is one of Asia’s most cosmopolitan cities and the place one can find skyscrapers next to charming Buddhist shrines, the traditional fresh markets next to modern shopping malls or the century old temples alongside high-rising hotels and condominiums at the bank of the Chao Phraya River. Bangkok is a city that never sleeps and you can enjoy the beats of Bangkok all around the clock. After breakfast at the hotel you will take a half day City and Temple Tour. Meet your tour guide at the lobby and be driven through the center of Bangkok to visit three of the most gorgeous Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Traimitr with its impressive three-meter tall, 5 tons heavy solid gold Buddha image which gleams like no other gold artifact, Wat Pho, Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple, which features the largest reclining Buddha and the Chedi of the kings and Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, a prime example of modern Thai architecture. Day 3 Bangkok - Phitsanuloke B,L,
After breakfast at hotel, meet your tour guide at the lobby and be driven to Bang-Pa-In to visit the magnificent of Bang-Pa-In Summer Palace. Proceed to Ayutthaya; the old capital of Siamese Kingdom to admire the ancient ruins of Wat Panan Choeng, Wat Yai Chai Mongkol and Wat Chai Wattanaram. Continue to Lopburi. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Lopburi. After lunch, you will visit San Phra Karn (the Monkey Temple) and the Prang Sam Yod (the Three Spire Pagoda), the ancient Hindu Shrine in Khmer style architecture, a landmark of Lopburi Town. Leave Lopburi via the central plain of the kingdom for Phitsanulok. In the late afternoon, you will arrival in Phitsanulok. Take a short visit of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Maha Dhat where houses the fine seated Buddha image “Phra Buddha Chinaraj”. Check in at the hotel. Overnight at The Amarin Lagoon Hotel
Day 4 Phitsanuloke - Lampang B,L,
After breakfast, you will visit the private Ethnic & Folklore Museum at the house of Mr. Thavee Buranakhet (closed on Monday). Transfer to Sukhothai to visit the Sukhothai Historical Park and its compound as well as Wat Sri Chum with its giant seated Buddha image. Depart Sukhothai via Sawankalok for Sri Satchanalai, a sister city of Sukhothai in the past, located by the Yom River. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will visit Sri Satchanalai Historical Park, a World Cultural Heritage, designated by UNESCO. Afterwards transfer to Lampang. Arrive at Lampang in late afternoon. You will take a horse carriage ride to visit Wat Phra Kaew Don Tao, one of the most revered Buddhist temples in town. Check in at the hotel. Overnight at Wiang Lakor Hotel.
Day 5 Lampang - Chiang Rai B,L,
After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Baan Sao Nak, a Lanna-style wooden house with a lot of wooden pillars and Wat Chedi Sao with twenty cute pagodas. Depart Lampang for Phayao to visit Kwan Phayao, the largest Fresh Water Swamp in Thailand. Also visit Wat Sri Khom Kham, one of the finest Buddhist temples by the Phayao Lake with a large, massive Buddha image. Depart Phayao for Chiang Rai with an opportunity to visit a colorful pineapple plantation en-route. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Chiang Rai. After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise on the Mae Kok River to visit the White Karen Hill tribe before checking in at the hotel. Overnight at Wiang Inn Hotel
Day 6 Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai B,L,
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Mae Sai, the northernmost town in Thailand, bordering Myanmar. Enjoy strolling, shopping and bargaining at the local market of the town before leaving for the Golden Triangle. Visit the Golden Triangle, where the border of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar converge. Proceed to Chiang Saen to visit the 1st Ancient Empire of the “Tai Tribe” Kingdom by the Mae Khong River, as well as the Chiang Saen Museum and Wat Pa Sak. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. The you will leave Chiang Saen for Chiang Mai via Chiang Rai and Wiang Pa Pao with an opportunity to visit the Hot Springs at Mae Kha Chan en-route. In the early evening, arrives in Chiang Mai and check-in at the hotel. Overnight at The Empress Hotel.
Day 7 Chiang Mai - Bangkok B,
You have full day free at leisure to relax at hotel or explore Chiang Mai on your own. In the early evening, you will be transferred to Chiang Mai Railways Station to board the 2nd Class air-conditioned Express Train (Sleeper Berth) to Bangkok.
Day 8 Arrival at Bangkok
You will arrive at Bangkok in the early morning (no breakfast) and be transferred from Bangkok Railways Station (Hua Lam Pong Railways Station) to your hotel in Bangkok. Check in your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure.
Day 9 Depart Bangkok B,
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight return home or to your next destination.
