Bangkok - City pillar - Wat Pho - Vimanmek Mansion |

Today you will first visit the City Pillar or “Lak Muang Shrine”, the symbol of the establishment of a Thai community and the aspects of Brahmanism which preceded Buddhism.
Next, continue to Grand Palace - the most beautiful temple of an ancient Siamese court. It
used to be the residence of the Kings of Bangkok for different occasions; the Funeral Palace,
the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest house and the
Beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. Then, visit Wat Pho, Bangkok’s oldest and largest temple, which features the largest reclining Buddha and the Chedi of the kings. Here you will enjoy an authentic traditional Thai massage.
Buffet lunch at Fisherman Seafood Restaurant.
Afternoon, proceed to Vimanmek Mansion, A magnificent structure said to be the world’s
largest golden teakwood mansion. Built in 1900 on the command of King Rama V, the mansion was used as his summer place. It now houses a collection of photographs, arts and handicrafts commemorating King Rama V. It’s treasured as a showcase of Thai heritage for now and future generations.
Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
In the evening, you will enjoy set Thai dinner at Supatra River House, which overlooks Grand Palace. After dinner, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Jim Thomson House - Orchid Market - Ko Kret |

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Jim Thomson Museum, a magnificent Thai-style house that contains an extensive collection of Thai silk ware, art objects and antiques.
Then you will visit Fower Market, well known as "Pak Klong Talard", a wholesale center
for flowers, fruits and vegetables.
Lunch at Suan Thip Restaurant
Afternoon, proceed to the pier for public ferry across the river to Koh Kret, a tiny island in the
Chao Phraya River, located in Nonthaburi Province. On this island, lives a community of
craftsmen famous for their distinctive style of pottery, which dates back many centuries. The
potteries are known for their fine, red-black glazed surface and intricate design. They are all
hand-made piece-by-piece and you will see the process. People live on Koh Kret and nearby
are the descendants of the Mon people, and they have managed to retain the skills of their
forefathers.

Enjoy your breakfast at Thai House. Then you will take a short tour around the farm and afterwards head towards the ‘Open Air Kitchen’. The cooking lesson begins with your hands-on participation in preparing various Thai recipes. Discussions on Thai cooking as well as food tasting will be part of the lesson. The course includes; Introduction of Herbs and Spices, Spicy Thai Pork Salad (appetizer), Hot and Sour Prawn Soup (soup), Thai Fried Noodles (luncheon dish), Yellow Chicken Curry (main dish), Coconut Beef Curry (main dish).
Lunch at Thai House
Then transfer back to hotel in Bangkok or Bangkok International Airport.
