Mindoro is a good tarting point for trips out to Apo Reef, a reef and lagoon system 32km out into the opne ocean on the way to Palaway. The two V-shaped reefs are separated by a deep channel and offer the chance to glimpse that rare beast today: a near-unspoiled underwater habitat.
