Reservation, Deposit and Payments

Reservations are made upon receipt of a deposit of $500 per person, which must be received within 7 days of request. Failure to meet the deposit requirement will result in release of reservation.

Final payment is due 75 days prior to departure.

Late payment fee of $50 per person is applied if final payment is not received by 75 days prior to departure. This late payment fee will be waived if final payment is received within three days of invoice.

Travel Documents

It is the responsibility of individual passengers to see that proper documentation is obtained in advance of the trip. Each passenger must be in possession of a passport valid for more than six months after the return date of arrival. Also, all passengers must be in possession of visas for China, Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, India and Nepal. Passengers must check visa requirement for the countries they plan to visit directly with the consulates of those countries and obtain necessary information prior to their departure. ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. will not be responsible for alternate or additional land or air arrangement resulting from improper documentation.

China Visa application fee: $180 per person.

Cancellations and Changes

All cancellations must be made in writing to ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. The date of receipt of said cancellation will determine what penalties, if any, will be assessed. Cancellation penalties are as follows:

• After confirmation and up to 75 days prior to departure: $300.00 per person
• 74 - 45 days prior to departure:  $350.00 per person
• 44-16 days prior to departure:  $400.00 per person
• 15 – 1 days prior to departure:  $500.00 per person
• 1 day or less or no-show : 100% of the tour cost

Additional cancellation charges will be incurred in accordance with the rules of individual airlines, hotels and cruise lines involved. All voluntary alteration of confirmed itineraries will require a non-refundable handling charge of $50 per request. CHINA CLASSIC TOURS & TRAVEL, INC., reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason including insufficient number of participants. Should this happen, refunds will be made without obligation. Trip cancellation insurance is highly recommended and available through www.asiaclassictours.com.

Refunds

No refund will be made for any unused or missed tour feature including sightseeing, meals or hotels.

Health Requirement

Currently none of the countries included in the itineraries require a certification of vaccination if origination is from North America. However, this is subject to change at any time. Please check with booking agent to ascertain which, if any, countries in the tour require proof of any inoculation. It is the passenger’s responsibility to take all precaution with regard to health regulations.

Air Transportation

The air portions of these tours will be provided as part of the total package and issued as such by selected airlines or ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. Once transportation begins, there will be no refund if you do not use the flight as scheduled. Nor will any unused coupons be transferable as credit towards purchase of any other airfare.

Hotels

All hotel accommodations will be provided in hotels mentioned or in hotels of similar category. ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. will endeavor to provide specified hotel at all times; however, due to International Congresses or other events, these properties may be unavailable during certain periods. ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. will accommodate passengers in a hotel of equal class. All hotel rooms are assigned by each hotel on a run-of-the-house, standard room basis.

Baggage

For international flights, the limit is two checked bags per person, the total dimensions of which must not exceed 106 inches (with no piece larger than 62 inches or exceeding 35 kilograms). For flights within the Orient and China baggage may not exceed 44 lbs. or 20 kilograms. Additionally, one piece of carry-on luggage is allowed which may not exceed total dimensions of 45 inches. Excess baggage charges are strictly enforced and it is the responsibility of the passenger to pay these charges at the airport before departure. Baggage insurance is strongly recommended and available through ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC.

Sightseeing and Transfers

All sightseeing and transfers are by motor-coach, car or other conveyance, and include entrance fees. Transfers between airport, hotels, piers and rail stations are provided only for tour members utilizing the space reserved for the group. Land only passengers are responsible for their own arrival and departure transfer between airport and hotel.

Tour Escort

Groups of more than 15 passengers who are traveling on the same itinerary will be escorted by an ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. tour director throughout their China or Orient tour. Group of less than 15 will be locally hosted.

Pricing

All land and air costs shown in this brochure are in U.S. dollars and are based on tariffs, rates of exchange, cost and schedules in effect January 1, 2008 and are subject to change without notice. Any fluctuation of currencies could result in a higher land cost. In any case, no surcharge will be imposed after a passenger is fully paid.

Not Included

Tours do not include the following: service charges for obtaining passports and/or visas, foreign departure taxes, U.S. departure taxes, U.S. customs/immigration user fees, U.S. airport passenger facility charges, insurance, liquors, wines, mineral waters, sightseeing tours and excursions that are not specifically included in itineraries or shown as optional, tips at local restaurants, hotels, or for guides and drivers, and all other items and expenses of a personal nature.

Responsibility

ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. acts as tour operator and agent for the companies they represent, and as a consequence accept no responsibility for accidents, damages, baggage losses, and/or delays due to weather, acts of God, acts of governments or authorities, wars, strikes, criminal acts committed by third parties, theft, pilferage or to faults or defaults of any company used for carrying out these tours. Although ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. anticipates no changes in the itineraries or accommodations, etc. as printed herein, the right is reserved to make any changes with or without notice that might become necessary in the best interests of the tours. In such cases any additional expenses must be borne by the passenger. ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. reserves the right to decline, accept or to retain any person as a member of any tour at any time. The airlines concerned are not held responsible for any act; omissions or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. All fares shown by the airlines are subject to change at any time without notice, and land costs are based on present value of foreign currencies in relation to the U.S. dollar, and in current tariffs, and are subject to adjustment until time of final payment by passenger. ASIA CLASSIC TOURS, INC. is not responsible for faulty, inferior or non-delivery of any items purchased by tour passengers during their trip.
